No I have not. But I will say that I have had a Russell day long for years first on my 05 Wee & now on my 2011 & I believe their is no finer saddle.

Default saddleman seat

I have studied the forum and almost everyone says RDL. I do not need to go any higher than stock!! I'm sorry but I can't ride just toeing down every time I stop. Have lowering links and raised front tubes in tree. This is a safey factor to me. Love my wee and will not sell until the fat lady sings. James

Default saddleman seat

Is the saddleman seat any taller than stock seat? I read Suzuki info about gel seat and they said it was 1" lower than stock. What a suprise when I received my new gel seat and found it was 1" taller. James

It may be only 1" taller technically, but it's also a whole lot wider than stock. I went from almost flat foot to barely tip toes when I switched from stock to gel. The gel is a huge improvement over stock for me, but the bike is much more difficult to manage. I'm thinking maybe a sargent seat as they are not supposed to be as tall/wide as the gel.

Just recently gave my boss my Sargent for a day and rode on his stock seat.
If stepover height is the measure, the Sargent is considerably taller.

I'm 6'2" 270 lbs with 32" inseam, I find the combination of the Sargent seat and Ricks' footpeg lowering kit to be quite comfortable for extended rides.

The Suzuki gel seat is about 1" TALLER than stock 650 seat. The gel is taller than the Sargent also. I owned a Sargent for exactly one ride. Bought it used, sold i used. The Sargent reduced my legroom due to lower height and my NUTS HURT within 45-60 minutes.

I'm 6'1", 34" inseam.

Your experience may vary.

The Saddlemen looks very nice. But on my next bike it will be a Russell.

Just got a Terry Adcox custom built twin bucket with 1.5" lift in front. Similar in style to Russell Daylong. I love this seat. Superwide firm support with about an inch more cockpit room. Wife loves the contoured pillion. Great deal for $350. Tried the Sargent and the sportrac but didn't fit my skinny butt. The Adcox rocks! See I on eBay. Terry will work with you on a custom design for your needs.
