Hello All,

First of all sorry for adding regionality into this post, but I figure there must be few SF Bay Area people on the forum.

The two dealers I visited only had the 07 non-abs available and neither could give a straight answer on the timeline for the ABS.

I'm in no rush ... I've got a 05 KLR that I love, but I would like to know when people are hearing of availability.

No solid dates. I'm waiting for one too. I've seen everything from one claim of having one in California, which I doubt highly, to mid November, to next March or April.

How much deposit did your dealer require? I'm thinking of going down that route.

$200. The bike will be in short supply. Honda East of Toledo is a huge dealer and they are only getting two for 2007.

Jeez...you guys aren't exactly cheering me up....I was hoping to get a 07ABS too...I'm in the central Ohio area....guess I'd better think about a deposit.....

I put $500 down to order my K7 ABS. Being told mid-November, but I can't really ride it until the spring anyway...

I was kinda hoping to wait until spring to buy, but looks like that might not be an option....I just hate the thought of making payments on something I won't get much use out of for a few months....

I too have a Wee with ABS on order. The dealer had originally told me it would be delivered the last week of October, he called yesterday to assure me that it would be in the first week of November. I'm not sure if I'm just being stroked or not. I was hoping to get the bike broken in before the snow flies here in New England. I already have a pile of boxes in my garage containing the farkles I will be adding this winter!

If people are putting down deposits, I assume MSRP is the price.

Oh well, even at MSRP I consider it a pretty darn good deal. Well savings are boring anyways .. .can't ride a bank account
