Just bought a new 07 DL650. Considering soft luggage vs. hard luggage. The GIVI Soft Luggage T421 looks apealing but would like to see what others are using.

Recommendation for side racks to hold luggage integrity would be appreciated too .

Hey nodaclu,

I got an offer for a pair of used T421 for about 100 bucks.
Before I go for it I'd like to be informed, and thanks to Heavy's recommendation regarding the use of search function ( ) I found your post.

My questions:

• how is the fit, installation on the bike?
• does it withstand against the heat of the muffler?
• how problematic the use of passenger-pegs when 2 up?
• how is the stability at higher speeds (~80-100 mph)?
• what is your thoughts on usage (space, zips, material, rainproof, access), worth the money?
