Seriously?!?? A 3 Amp ATM Low Profile Fuse...

The V calls for a ATM-3LP fuse for the power port... Mine is not blown, but I'm just preparing an "oh shit" kit and wanted a spare for longer trips. I've contact all my local auto parts stores (my Suzuki dealer also) and online, and nobody can get them. Even an Internet search turned up zero places that actually sell them. Anyone else found these for sale anywhere?

Thanks Opp North John....

I ended up where you ended up... Not a biggie as I said, but I find it "interesting" that we have to order a "spec" fuse from the UK. Again, a small issue to be sure, but someone at Suzuki should get on the stick and make these available if they are going to place these in bikes they are selling us here in the US. I've got spare 5's in the case I need one... Thanks again.

Take a bad one, whittle the plastic down some, carefully (remember that the base is just plastic!) solder the wires from a traditional-sized ATM fuse holder to the lugs. Then you can use standard ATM fuses.

Jake did you find a 3 amp one at Autozone? Thanks.

I didn't know the power supply was for electronics only and connected a tire pump. Oh well I know now.

Snap!
I actually blew the power outlet fuse when trying to run a tyre pump so I went searching. Interestingly my Subaru Outback has the same type of fuses (low profile micro).
here's an example some for sale
60pcs Assorted Auto CAR LOW Profile Micro Mini Blade Fuse 5A 10A 15A 20A 25A 30A | eBay
I found an auto supplier in western Sydney, decided what I needed a stock of for both vehicles and went and bought a box of 60 for about $10. All they had to do was take out some excess 25Ws and replace then with the same number of 3Ws and they'd won me

Visited local Autozone and Radioshack and they dont have 3 amp low profile mini fuse (ATM-3LP). The best I could get was an assorted package from Cooper Bussmann with 2, 5, 7.5, 10, 15,20 and 30 amps, one each. I still have the spare one.

You can buy them in large quantities.

ATM low profile fuse

Napa & O'Reilly have ATM-5LP available, I haven't found 3s yet.
