i too hace considered removing mine.. Even went to one time. But to my shock and surprise, the PO stripped one of the @#$ screws out. I tried and tried but canot get the last one out.. Anyone got a trick to removing a little stripped screw from this area? I assume it means either removing the throttly body's.. If that's the only way I will leave it alone.
Leave them in, no real advantage to having them out.
Leaving them in but properly adjusting them seems to be the most widely accepted method. I can say that after getting them adjusted as closely as possible it did smooth things a bit. All around my Vee is very happy right now- so time to leave it alone..
Removed mine, after 1000 km on my newly aquired V.....i like it. Done a TBS, & LOVE IT !!! I can now stay at 100 km per hour in OD....without a problem rolling the throttle on, & not the slightest hesitation, or stumble at all. She is barely revving....just coasting. Gotta save on the gas that way....i may have to calculate it some day
