I agree completely. That bird beak is hideous.
The B-King style fake radiator shrouds do nothing but make the tank fat.
The silly little fairing/windshield thing is useless. Ew! Ugh! Ptooey!!

Perhaps they could have invested in the looks by hiring someone that can design truly beautiful motorcycles.

Like, maybe someone in Italy.

Like, maybe Ducati.

Funny you mention that. There is a long thread on the Triumph forums about how absolutely hideous that new Ducati is.

The looks are OK. But the most important thing is DID THEY FIX THE DANG FUEL INJECTION". The pipes are too low. The beak looks like the bird that ran into my living room window last week.

I'm starting to like the beak after a few re-visits to the pictures.
I also think it might also be a bit better that the current air dam /scoop front end of the current design.
Hopefully it will translate into better mileage and handling characteristics for windy conditions.

I don't mind the looks, but I do think it loses some individuality with the loss of the dual headlight deal. It's ugly, but the old one is ugly too, along with all of the other "adventure" bikes out there. These ain't the kind of motorsickles you buy to look at. I think a lot of folks are going to be pissed if they change the wheel size though, and I hope it weighs in a bit less.

In other news, that little twofiddy that's coming out looks like a barrel of monkeys. Or it could be a barrel of monkey turds, who knows.

Do you mean why did BMW copy the suzuki look?
