I usually fill right around 180 miles showing on the clock. Mine's also been dyno mapped and +2T on the rear and speedo corrected using a GPS to calibrate.

I usually put in ~4.8 - 5.0 gallons. I normally get 36 - 38 mpg on average. Most of my riding is 2 up with luggage and my HT boxes are less then aerodynamic. I ride with a pretty smooth throttle hand but I'm not in the granny lane that's for sure.

I am not so concerned with the cost of operation but would really like to have a very comfortable 200 mile range. I think I could hit 200 miles but based on my experience I'd estimate only having about 1/2 gallon of fuel in the tank and I'm not keen to damage the fuel pump if I don't have to.

I wish I could get my bike to a regular 40 - 41 mpg but so far it's proven illusive. I've messed with my maps to the point of surging but still not getting into the 40+ mpg range. This is with the less than stellar California fuel we are stuck with. I was getting slightly better mpg on Utah gas last summer.

Ya, something wrong with those numbers unless he's buying race gas.

If he was in certain countries in Europe maybe, but he lists SoCal and I haven't seen any gas above $5/gal except 100 octane race gas or AvGas.

when 100% stock, I once took under 5l/100km on a 700km of secondary roads at 90kph or less. This is 50mpg

2-up in the mountains with large windwhield, and loaded sides and top cases in cool temperature in the mountains took me more like 7.5L/100km, wich is close to 30mpg. This is the only way I can't do 200mi between gas stop.

I'm getting around 315 miles per fill-up (average), and I usually fill up when I'm down to about 1/4 tank. Also, I ride with the rear brake on, and pulling an anchor.....most of the time. So, I guess I'm averaging about 100 mpg. Hey, that's as accurate as some/many of the numbers being tossed around.

42-43 Miles Per Gallon here. I cruise at 60-70 mph in over drive on the highway, so the rev is way down.
Secondaries removed, throttle body sync done.
Solo with top case only.
