I get around 40 mpg and usually fill at 160 about 4 gallons. Isn't the tank 5.6 ?, so I would get over 200 if pushed.
Unless I was heading home or knew specifically where the next gas stop is I wouldn't play that game. Because of tree huggers there is NOT a little gas station in every town, and I could drive around even in the Northeast for 80 miles without passing one.

I start looking for fuel at 180 miles and get 200 easily. Have pushed it a couple of times to 220 miles.

Mine is about the same. The previous owner had "debaffled" mine a bit and I had the Yosh Box mod done, so she runs a bit richer. The only serious degradation in fuel mileage is when I have her loaded for bear for a trip. My Mermite cans are like frickin' parachutes.

tank size is 5.8, but fuel pump is fuel cooled, totally empty tank offers no cooling, fuel pumps are eeexspensive, I'll keep that last 8/10 gallon thank you

I easily get over 200 miles. On bad days I will fill up at 200 miles and it will take about 5.3.gallons. I usually get 45 to 47 mpg. I did over 50 once.

I'm getting fuel right around 180 miles (adjusted speedo, GPS verified) and putting in ~ 4.6 - 4.8 gallons.
I think that's damned good considering that's all city / back road riding (zero highway miles), the bike has a Power Commander, +2 gearing and I'm a bigger guy with a heavy throttle hand.

My bad I didnt know it holds 5.8 gal. The most I've ever put in was 4.9 on a fill. Thats with the bottom bar flashing Wow I could go quite abit farther between stops, that helps alot on 700 mile days LOL. Its hard to keep going when that last bar starts blinking.

150 on average but I'm a tall heavy guy 6'6" 300# and ride it like I stole it on twisty back roads. I think 170 is the most I e seen and I have a PCIII and a proper dyno tune as to peak performance for what it's worth
