Please use this thread for all things pertaining to PCIII mapping. Things like performance, gas mileage, tuning tips, best map for riding style, personal observations & experiences etc.......... List the year of your Strom too, this really helps.
Try to keep on topic as much as possible. Don't post "actual" map files here, post it at the other STICKY map thread. Have fun......no pissing on eachother please.

My 1000K6 is stock. PCIII supplied by Fuel Moto with their "stock" map. I get 40 mpg on the road, mid-upper 30's around town. I have a torque-y right hand.

I just put the unbaffled two bros exhaust on my stock k6 and it has the hicups off idle and between 3500-4000. Im am using the PCIII recomended map. With the stock exhaust the PCIII map was an improvement. I have made no other mods.
Eelspike K6 two brothers exhaust 14,000 miles commuting to NYC. |

I have an 04 DL1000. Stock exhaust with K&N air. I'm running the completely stock map for the 04-05 (M311-005) and believe that it may be running a bit lean. Would appreciate any suggestions.

I reloaded mine today with MG's new map that he modified for "me".
My 1000 honestly 1st though second will reach for the sky under hard throttle....so will BADTRAINDRIVERS strom. I'll see how good the Black Mantis runs with the new map, and I'll get back to ya'll.

I installed one of Shep's maps in my 06 and it seems a little lean at 3 to 4K rpm. Tried to adjust the mid range button but it would not work as per the manuel's directions. I held the 3 on and switched on ign----nothing, I switched on ign and then depressed the buttons---still nothing. The led moves when the engine is running and the unit took the map so that part works. Any hints?
