Yeah I browsed the knife laws and agree they are very restrictive. However, they do allow seemingly common sense exceptions for carry/use, though self-defense is not one of them.

I always wanted to get one of these Mossberg Just In Case shotties and mount it like a tool tube on the left side. Spray the canister black, you'd never know.

You just gotta ask yourself one question, "Would Chuck Norris use a tool tube?"

I like my Glock 23 but find that the squared off end of slide prints through most everything. Went to carrying a Smith aluminum frame snubbie for many years. I think I have found one of the best blends of compact, lite weight, flat, enough power with this...

Disapears under a T-shirt in a flat pancake holster.

I live by the idea; It's better to have and not need, than need and not have.

When I'm out riding/camping, I don't always stop at a populated campsites. There are often times when I stop for a break in the middle of nowhere and you never know when you might have a run in with a bear or a blue ridge mountain red neck. Personally, I'd rather have the run in with the bear.

But, I'm an American who just likes guns and making use of this right.

Exactly. You never know where you might be attacked. If people did, they probably would have carried protection.

Plus, Sometimes there is a log or paint can or Helium cylinder that just needs to have some holes drilled into them remotely.

Default Which boomstick do you bring camping?

Either the XD or my Glock 36. Like cameraman.... I'd rather have than not. Beside my hands are registered weapons from the years of martial arts training I have. It would be easier for the attacker to be shot than for me to inflict my signature move the "bowling ball" on them. It's where I shove my middle and index finger in their eye sockets and ham my thumb in the roof of their mouth. This single move strikes so much fear into any other witnessing attackers that they flee in fear of what will happen to them.

My cadre' has a move called the sac of jelly. It doesn't work on female attackers but every man within 200 meters falls to the ground moaning when you perform the move. Including the defender.
