I noticed a 1st post to DLs 3cousins thread, by Silverbeard, so welcome to the forum Silver Beard. I also noticed that you are from the Blue Mountains and I've now lost count of the number of new members posting from this rather small area.
I thought it's now about time we got together as I know many of us have not as yet met in person. To get the ball rolling I suggest a coffee at Springwood, say this weekend. There are probably others also nearby, Ockerstrom being one, so, any takers? Of course anyone is welcome along no matter where you live, Bathurst, Orange, Sydney etc.
Let' see if we can get all the local members, plus other too and plan the next day ride or o'nighter.

Ozzy, either day suits me so I'm happy to make it Sunday, depends on the consensus. If more come from near the top perhaps Katoomba would suit more members. Let's see what unfolds.

Thanks for the welcome Saturn 5, Sorry Saturday's a no go for me this weekend, I am happy to meet up on Sunday for a coffee at Springwood.

If anyone's keen we could head off for short ride down Hawksbury road to North Richmond then up the Bells to Bilpin or even do the loop via Mount Vic.

This weekend is out for me.

Brian, may I suggest we arrange dinner at the club at Springwood on a Saturday night?
Or maybe a Sunday lunch there?

I have taken bus groups there with the job I do, the food is good.

I'm happy to pick you up in the car and would try to persuade Belinda to come along as well.

We could make it a social get together, coming by bike or car and bringing wives/husbands/partners etc..

I have tomorrow [Wednesday] off and am going over to AdventureMoto to see if I can adapt a Rotopax jerry can set up to the KLE.

I'm keen for another ride ASAP but the weather is not so good.

I thought you might have taken my KLE for a ride when I was there the other day but the day was a bit warm, maybe on a cooler day, if you feel up to it, it can be arranged as well and make a proper ride day of it.

It'd be great to meet and re-meet some of the Stommer gang.

I possibly could arrange for the 3 strommers who I usually ride with to come as well.
