I've arranged after the testing at Burwood to go and stay with some old friends at Camden whom I haven't seen for yonks so I reckon it's gunna be a late night. From there I'll head up to Springwood for the Sunday lunch and head back to Newy about 3-ish All weekends should have 3 days...2 for playing up and one for recovery....the present system just doesn't cater for it Cheers wobbly_boot Dave |

Gahhh! I was at lunch today and was talking about camera clubs with my BIL when it dawned on me that I am committed for Sunday 20th. I'm the club treasurer and, as a committee member, I should be at the presentation for our club's annual Invitational Competition.

It's time to rev this thread up again. Since my last post I have made an executive decision to have our lunch, Sunday 20th at the ORI-ental hotel Springwood in leu of the Bolow. This will avoid any possible problems with dress rules.
Both Don and Ron are now unable to join in ( that sounds to be a great ride your planning Don) but I would like to have an idea of how many can make it. Forecast is a magic 26' but possible rain or showers. I hope the rain will not lead to some cancellations. After pressing the flesh and having a bite to eat, I thought it an opportune time to plan some future rides together. These could be day, o'nighters or maybe extended ... whatever you all can suggest. This is not to be exclusive to local Mtn. Troopers, in fact I am looking forward to any member within a days ride of the Mtns. or either further afield, as our rides may pass your hometown. Let's see what evolves. Saturn 5 |

I would have come but am getting deployed tomorrow. I live towards the Gong, but have been spending a fair bit of time up at Valley Heights of late if anyone noticed my silver V with the loud pipes. I know my friends neighbours did as they didn't like the noise. Have a great day. Ill try and get some pics of my trip. Not the best at riding in sand but will be giving it a good go!

Lida and I 'plan' on being there. Rain could change our minds but the predicted 'showers' should be ok. The new CB400 now has a Windscreen, Ventura tailbag with Rack,Oxford Heated Grips(essential for upper mountains riding),Center Stand, Oggy Knobs and Throw Over Panniers. All set for a run to Springwood. Rod
