A mate and I are new Vee owners. We reside in Lithgow and Bathurst and would be interested in a meet up. We're pretty flexible re dates so I'll keep watching this thread until something is finalised.

Strewth, their coming out of the woodwork all these new members, more than I realised . But first ......Happy berfday Ron A P.M. To follow. I was in Katoomba to-day and saw an Orange 650 that I ve not noticed before, perhaps one of our new posters. Anymore lurkers? Join in.
Is Sunday 20th the day then? Lunch to make plans for future rides. From experience, I can say we now have enough interest to have very regular rides together, no more weekends at home or riding alone ( unless you want to).
Can I ask for firm (as much as possible) numbers so as I can arrange a booking at either the pub or Bowlo? Partners welcome too.

Lunch on Sunday the 20th. after all that is the actual day of Ron's Birthday

Ron, do you and Elisabeth have plans for that day [well plans that you know of anyway ]

Belinda flies back in this Saturday so I will see how she feels about coming the following weekend [she has been a bit unwell while OS and ended up in a hospital ER there].

Hi saturn 5 , im only a maybe , things have turned to at work , don't know if Im going have a job after the end of the month @ssholes ,things have slowed down at work and guess who is one of the scapegoats , they had a go at me for checking this forum at work.

No plans of which I am aware. I just realised it will be the 5th anniversary of the date when we last saw our son, Lee (Bucko). He'd ridden down from Newcastle for my 60th birthday lunch at a restaurant in Katoomba. We had a bottle of Penfolds Grange with lunch but he didn't have a glass because he was riding. I can't remember if he was on the Strom (which I now ride) or the XJR1300.

Lida and I are both available Sunday 20th. We are also both interested in getting together again with those of you whom we have already met and meeting the 'extended' group....I often pop down to the 'Diner' at Hartley for coffee/food. Makes a good meeting place for groups! Rod
