I have made a booking at Archers Manor for the annual dinner for the evening of Saturday March 16th 2013. Depending on the numbers the meal will either be a buffet style or a fixed choice or the normal menu. The venue has multiple rooms and we are guaranteed our private space including a bar. Those of you who have indicated that you may be coming, could you please firm up your plans and let me know by January 20th how many of you there will be. I am waiting on an email with pricing for the accommodation, but think it may be corporate rate for a three star type motel. Will provide more info closer to the date on a seperate thread..

Here is the clincher, downstairs there is a bar called the universal joint which has a motoring theme, the bar has drive in access and the landlord is happy for us to take our annual photo with all the bikes inside the bar, puts a different spin on "Drive In"!!!!

Just realized that I had forgotten to include myself on this thread, so with me and Rod C looks like there will 13 from the forum plus another 3 or 4 tassie strommers who do not frequent. I am planning on being on leave the week before the dinner and am more than happy to meet any one off the boat and take them for a trip. Send me a PM for a mobile number.

Pete (one off), Howard and myself are already confirmed Tony, but I am just advising we have booked a unit at Alanvale Apts at the venue location for Fri 15th & Sat 16th. We are booked on the Ferry to get there on Thur 14th after our road trip down from Qld.....
