Well after three weeks with out my ride it looks like I have made the call and am going to get myself a 2012 model 650 from mal at Gold Coast Suzuki, they have been great with helping my insurance claim and are doing a good deal on their demo model. I was thinking about going for stu's dr but work has made a offer I can not turn down so will need the touring capabilities of the dl. Sorry stu will call again soon and look forward to continuing to ride with you boys on the big girl. I should have the new bike by steve's ride in two weeks but not sure what luggage from my old bike will fit so won't be able to let you know until I try and fit it. My daughter has already named the new bike black snow and is looking forward to traveling with me next year when she turns 8.

Still needs decent tyres, but I've found it a lot better off the seal than the old one.

(Leave the jumps alone though eh, there are limits )

Well I bit the bullet today and ended up going for a brand new 12 model at Gold Coast Suzuki. Mal is doing real good deals for us and there wasn't much difference between the demo and new. They have been great with helping me get back on a bike and its good to support a local family dealer, if your in the market for a new bike you should pop in, but just remember that he makes his money from farkles and service so give him a go great discounts for stromtroopers !! Pick it up in two weeks so will miss your ride Steve but will have it by the Xmas party yay !!
