You can use anything in your Vee (or Wee) except diesel
In my Vee I get maximum mileage from 98 octane and minimum cost per kilometre from 95 octane PS I agree with the others that 91 E10 is the most environmentally unfriendly fuel you can run PPS 7-11 is supplied by Mobil. PPPS Where did you find Texaco in Aus ? .

I use 95 from the caltex/woolies servo about 2 mins ride from my place.
Cause we have fuelwatch over this way I get it when it's cheepest (usually Wednesdays), fill the shitbox hyundai and some jerry cans. Usually lasts about 2 weeks. Car runs better with less pinging, bikes seam to do better also. |

Actually that's wrong.
It's because the farmers hold a lot of sway in many marginal rural NSW and Qld seats and had an excess of crops suitable for production of ethanol. When the compulsory ethanol in fuel was brought in the Greens had only one or two seats in Federal Parliament. |

As for what's in the owners manual - it says a lot of things are possible. Take a look at the Suzuki website and you realise it's a case of "just because you can doesn't mean you should". I've got a spreadsheet of my fuel use over the last 2 and a bit years / ~84000k - every now and then I would run a few (as in about 6 tanks) of 95 in the bike. Same bike, same rider, same commute - as many variables as you can reasonably control in the real world. The L/100km calculation doesn't change that much - except for that one time I mistakenly put in one tank of BP e98 The real difference is the $/100km chart......I do occasionally run a tank or two of 95 purely for the engine cleaner(glorified detergent)..... Cheers!

Cost per ltr
![]() I have a wee not an F250. I run the standard crap without a problem. You can't compare it to other cars because some of them are designed to have the expensive crap in them. I also run the standard stuff because in some of the smaller / outback towns, the expensive stuff tends to sit in the tanks longer at the servo

As long as it allows my Wee to SUCK SQUEEZE BANG BLOW (repeatedly), I'll use it
