The Hotel features country pub meals.

Located in the heart of the small village of Majors Creek in south eastern New South Wales. Majors Creek Recreation Reserve provides a great spot to stop for the night on your way to your next destination. There is a toilet block (no showers) and tank water. Plenty of space for several tents or your camper van, access to the Playground and Tennis Courts. A small donation is requested and can be left in the donation box behind the sheltered picnic area.

Activities

Given the setting of the campsite at the recreation reserve, an abundance of activities exist. The tennis court, oval, playground and basketball court, along with picnic tables and bins makes this a complete campsite from an activity perspective.

Best Spot

The camping ground offers over one hundred individual campsites. The camping ground provides plenty of options, but the “Best Spot”is probably just beyond the building..

Good on you Brett. I like Marulan and its lovely old buildings, we used to travel down that way a bit when we lived in Sydney. The camp on the river sounds great. A bit far for me, so a cafe ride tomorrow for breaky to Binna Burra with one other Strom.

Enjoy your overnighter.
Cheers

Which dates are you planning, or is it this weekend?
I work shifts that are all over the place so hard to plan. Also this weekend am in for a two stage FarRide finishing in Roma Queensland. Be nearly 3000 ks all round.
Can't wait until I can retire so I can plan my leisure time better.

Well done Brett.

I've extended my leave so I now have 20 days off, I'm heading north first then there is no plan so if I'm back in Sydney I will join in.

The last time I did the dirt road from Nerriga to Braidwood it was a crap ride, the road is used a lot by cars so it gets quite chopped up and the cars all want to do 60kph while I was happiest at 80kph but overtaking opportunities are limited, all the recent rain could have that road looking like a goat track ?.

Charleys Forest Road is a better ride if you want to do dirt and via Tarago if the weather is still crap.
