I majored in English at the university, but I never really learned English until I studied Spanish. Something about studying a foreign language that teaches you more of another language. When you learn a foreign language you also learn a culture and another way of thinking. I now speak English, Spanish and Maya. Plan on learning more languages. For me it is a bunch of work to learn a language. But, I have had students that grasp languages very fast. I wish I was one of them!
