The time parameter is there because running an engine produces acids in the oil. Having acidic oil sitting in an engine over a long period cam cause damage. With only 400 miles gone, the inhibitors in the oil are probably doing a fine job of neutralizing the acidity. If money or time is not an object, I would change it though.
