Hi Syd, my friend in Burlington VT will not be joining me.
Is your offer for a stay-over tomorrow night at your place still available?
No worries if not, I know it's a last minute thing. Let me know.
    Thanks and see you soon.

Hey Syd....didn't see this until today. Please use the PM option, then it goes to my email as well.

We have already booked 2 tent sites for up to 6 of us. If it is cold like '16 we may take you up on it if you don't fill up.

    Thanks Bud

Hey Syd....weird...just stumbled on this when checking the photo game. I didn't get my usual email notice.

Glad Mike got a cabin....we hate to see you not able to have a Crown with us, since you need to ride to a motel. Looking forward to a great time for sure. Just set up the old PC so I can design the shirts on PhotoShop.

    Best regards,

    Phil

I also got us Cabin #4 for NEVA for 2-5 August. Cost was $261 CA. I'll let you know what that works out to US money when it posts.

After pre-riding the adv route yesterday, we decided it needed more dirt. Today, I renovated the first half and added 15 dirt sections. While doing this, I stumbled upon two sections that will be labeled "hero sections." If you are familiar with typical adventure routes included in organized events, these are level 1.5 to 2. Here is a picture of the most difficult section.

    Hi Syd,
I hope all is well with you and your family. Happy New Year! Thanks for the heads up.
Sorry for the long delay. Just not checking here often. I get some of the Facebook one on my Hotmail, which is the better place to contact me. dclendinneng@hotmail.com
I probably won't be going as my wife and I will be on vacation somewhere in the UK. Plans not completely finalized but for sure we will be in Wembley on the 28th of June for a concert with Adele. Eve is a big fan and she bought some tickets so we have to go.
I will get to some events before we go and probably after as well.
NEVA is a bit far this year so I'm not sure what I will do yet.

    Take care,
    Danny C.

    Hey Syd....doing good here....shoveling snow every day...LOL

Thinking of doing some PA roads ahead of time, so Gord, Tom and I might head out early since we are all retired....not sure yet. Our usual camping spot at Naked Acres may not happen as they are selling, but we will see. Lot's of time yet.

We will be at the Wellsboro Diner between 9:00 and 9:30. I have 2 routes planned, as Gord didn't want such a long ride. We are taking the roundabout route and avoiding major cities. If you have downloaded the Tyre free program, these files will load and you can transfer directly to your GPS. They are labelled as 484, which is 8 hours and 295 miles. The other is 7 hours and 268 miles....labelled 431.

Let me know if you have any problems loading them. What GPS do you have?

Updated route Syd....playing with Tyre again, and came up with an alternate route, that cuts off about 30 kms, and a lot of small towns. Tyre shows 465 kms and 8:21 on regular speed and 4:10 on fast speed. I figure with an average of 10 mph over, and breaks, we should be about 6 to 7 hours getting to Romney between 5 and 6 hopefully. If we need to catch up, this route allows us to jump on 99 and 70 to slab for a while.

Had a blast running the route....click on Tools, Preferences, Google Maps - Route, Speed, Racing. Then click the play arrow beside the Motorcyle icon, and watch the route. It's cool on Satelite mode, but neat to see the Map setting with Terrain clicked.

The new route has lots of mountain crossings in the south section, points 34 - 53.
