Just out of curiosity and pure ignorance, how does the V-strom compare to the C50 in acceleration and speed. My brother just bought a new "Wing" last fall and I'm getting tired of him blowing me away in a reclining chair :>)

Hello once again, just a quick follow up. The adjustments will improve the turn in ability

of the bike, much more intuitive than your previous settings for two up riding. I don't

know if you are running trailwings or not, however there is a bit if tire squirm associated

with them due to the small tread blocks. I have found the Battlewings to be a much

    better tire for the wee.

I hope you and your son enjoy your trip. Be safe. Mike D

Hello eye surgeon, Mike D. here. Remember my pretty wife by the Healey.

With regard to the suspension on the Wee riding two up.

As the bike comes from suzuki the rear spring is too soft and the fork spring are too stiff.

I found to properly set the sag for two up I needed to back off the preload

all the way on the forks( all lines showing) and set the rear shock a the way up.

You see any additional preload onthe front causes the front suspension act

like a fulcrum point shifting weight to the rear.

When the weight shifts to the rear the bike tends to push in the turns.

Just want to let you know, while the suspension is marginal it can be adjusted

    to perform a bit better.

My pretty wife and I tip the scales at 410 with gear. I was able to greatly

    reduce push with this method.

It made quite a difference in the way the bike responds in the twisties and I

have never bottomed out the suspension.

Have a great day Mike D.
