Sorry somehow I sent this as a private message!

Yea I agree pulling his gun for a traffic offense wasn't a good move on his part.

Makes me wonder what the rider did to get the attention.

The officer said something like "you know you committed an arrestable offense, right?" The rider doesn't reply to that.

He had his police lights on also. Kind of a stretch for the rider not to know he was a cop if you ask me.

The officer should have approached with his badge out instead of his gun though.

I think flying is done for me... Wife isn't into it. On the other hand she is into riding so that's a big win! We are don in Tennessee right now.

    Yo, Clive,
I was map traveling and wondered if you have taken Wyman Creek Rd from the Bristol cone pine road back to 165?
Looks like a long ride down a canyon.

    Hola, Clive.
I usually stop at the Ranch Cafe in Olancha since it's about 180 miles from home. Lee Vining would be good but after I have a gut buster brekky, I'm good until dinner.
Looking forward to another ride up 395. It's nice once I get above the 14 merge. Just hoping the weather has a bit less snow than the last time I went to Tahoe.

Thanks for your note. My tendonitis is getting a lot better. I suspect now it's from resting my wrists too heavily on teh bars, and not so much about the clutch. I'll know more as time passes.

Thanks for the support. I'm never sure which way I will be seen. I don't mind being the butt of a joke or two but I don't want to be offensive to these guys.

    Hola Chicago-
I grew up in CA, NV and UT. Been in Mexico for 6 years now. Like you the people are what keeps me here. They are happy. Always have time to joke and laugh. I lived in the desert all my life and have adjusted quite well here. In fact when i visit UT, my skin becomes so dry and painful.
Happy that you have visited Mexico. It is a beautiful place. Every state has its culture, food and customs.

Hi Chicago, I missed your message.
It certainly was the best summer that I can remember...sign of the times I guess. When you visit are you on two wheels or four?
