Search for "secondaries"
There has been thread after thread on this. Some folks think it helps, some don't, some think it can cause engine problems (in top gears at full throttle and high revs, someplace I've never been) but few folks spend any time there either. The change in power and throttle response is slight, some would say subtle, and not everyone says it is a positive change. Good thing is, it is reversible. Unless you feel the Vee is underpowered (I don't) questionable whether it is worth the trouble and possibility of causing problems by dropping tiny bits down your intake tract. On the other hand my used Vee had them out when I bought it (though the seller provided all the parts), and I haven't bothered to put them back.
