I don't understand your original post in the Boycott thread. The use of the words "distasteful" and "unedyfing" leave eteh reader wondering if your for or against the boycott. Frankly, I can't tell if your supporting or detracting from the threads message.

Mike, I saw your post in the "When to stop thread..." and saw your sig ""What good does it do to save the planet if humanity suffers?" -- Exxon/Mobil CEO Rex Tillerson " I like it. Do you have a source? I did a google search and nothing turned up. D.

It's paint. Rustoleum "key lime green" to be exact. I should have clear coated it to prevent problems from gas spills, but instead I took the easy route and put a strip of carbon fiber-look vinyl on top of the tank.

Hey Mike, I just saw a photo of your Strom with the Green accents. Sorry if you've been asked this a million times, but is that a paint job, or one of those 'wraps'?

Sorry about the late reply -- just got back from a 2-week Baltic cruise. You can lower the Wee pretty easily with longer dogbones and pushing the fork tubes up a little. I did this initially because it seemed tall to me as well, but later went back to the OEM setup when I got more comfortable with it. You were wise not to get the BMW, not so much because of the cost of repairs (it's pretty easy to work on) as the fact that so many things are known to go wrong. I was never completely confident that the thing would get me home. AFAIK from my experience and also reading the forum the Wee is essentially bulletproof. If there is a glaring flaw nobody seems to have found it yet.

Just got my Wee about 3 weeks ago, sold my Shadow Sabre 2 weeks ago (131 000 kms).
Almost bought a BMW but chickened out because of the persistent rumours(?) about expensive repairs.I like the Wee so far but am desperately trying to grow longer legs!
