Got a lot of the work done on your basket this weekend. I have to finish the work on the inner plate and weld/bore the bushing in the top plate. Aluminum basket has its new bearing fitted, shims are machined/hardened, new bearing for top plate is machined and fitted in the jig for welding. Couple of weeks behind, but it will be worth the wait! Terry

Having the rally in your area sounds good to me. My wife's sister and family like in Sand Point ID, so I would trailer my Vee out there so the my wife will come along and can hang at her sister's place. I'm the guy in the cabin next to yours at Montrose.

If your interested in a clutch basket mod, Give me a shout. I've had three done by a machinist here in colville. They seem to be working out pretty well. I just don't yack it up on the forum too much. Scott over in CDA (flathead) has one in. and a guy in California had me get one done for him. We build stepped shims and fasten the plate securely , also had a bushing milled for the center. It's all held together with bolts and loctite, no welding. I've had them out to check the bolts. I had to heat them up to get them apart. So I feel confident that they will stay put for the duration. As your well aware the weather over here hasn't been to good much riding lately. though I did make the breakfast ride and it was a good riding day. let me know on the basket, as a couple of more prototypes out there wouldn't hurt. the cost is about 150.00 plus shipping. Don't know what your work schedule is but I'm available Fridays for some riding if that works for you.
