Maybe the air box cover is not properly seated?

When I was kid in high school, me and my friends would routinely flip over the air breather cover of our parents' cars in order to get that air induction roar... it sounded sooo cool when cruising around downtown in my mother's gold 1975 6-cyl Ford Maverick. :rolleyes:
